Abstract

An azo-pigment represented by the general formula: ##STR1## where R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl group, an unsubstituted phenyl group or a substituted phenyl group, R.sub.2 is a residue of a phenylenediamine, and R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, a methoxy group or a halogen atom. The azo-pigment of the present invention is useful in applications where azo-pigments are used.
