Abstract

A method for the analysis of particles in suspension in a fluid having a conductivity different from that of the particles, in particular a method for the analysis of blood particles is disclosed. The method includes the following steps: passing the fluid through an orifice, applying an electronic signal across the orifice, and producing electronic pulses corresponding to the changes in the signal level caused by the passage of the particles through the orifice. The invention is also concerned with a device for carrying out the method.
