Abstract
A pair of first and second doctor blades are disposed in symmetrical locations one on each side of a location in which a mesh roller is disposed adjacent to a fountain roller. There is switching means for independently displacing the pair of doctor blades between a first position in which the doctor blades are pressed against the mesh roller and a second position in which the doctor blades are spaced from the mesh roller, with or without a safety circuit.
