Abstract
An N-substituted carbamoyl-lactam compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is a di-valent radical derived from polytetramethylene glycol, R' is an at least divalent radical derived from a diisocyanate, Y is a C.sub.3 -C.sub.14 ring-forming alkylene group, and a has a value of at least 1 and is a number corresponding to the mean functionality of the aforesaid polyisocyanate minus 1. A process for preparing the N-substituted carbamoyl-lactam compound is also described.
