Abstract

The invention relates to new triphenylmethyl derivatives of sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine and sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine of the general formula ##STR1## in which T denotes a triphenylmethyl group which is unsubstituted or monosubstituted or polysubstituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy or halogen, and the radicals R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 either are identical and each represent a methyl group, or are different, in which case two of the radicals R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 always denote hydrogen, and the third radical represents a triphenylmethyl group which is unsubstituted or monosubstituted or polysubstituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy or halogen,
