Abstract
A radiographic intensifying screen comprising a support, a phosphor layer which comprises a binder and a phosphor dispersed therein, and a light-reflecting layer provided between the support and the phosphor layer which contains a white pigment, characterized in that said white pigment comprises alkaline earth metal fluorohalide represented by the formula M.sup.II FX, in which M.sup.II is at least one alkaline earth metal selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr and Ca; and X is at least one halogen selected from the group consisting of Cl and Br.
