Abstract

Novel compounds containing piperidine groups, of the general formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is hydrogen, O--, cyanomethyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.12 -alkenyl or -alkynyl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.12 -aralkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -acyl, m is an integer from 1 to 12, n is an integer from 1 to 3 and A is an amine radical, are suitable as light stabilizers, heat stabilizers and oxidation stabilizers for synthetic polymers. Processes for their preparation are also described.
