Abstract
A photoconductive film is formed by applying a dispersion liquid produced by mixing a solution of a binder resin in a first solvent of high compatibility with the binder resin containing a photoconductive organic pigment or dye with a second solvent having compatibility with the binder resin inferior to the first solvent. An electrophotographic photosensitive member having a photosensitive layer is formed by applying a dispersion liquid produced by mixing a solution of a binder resin in a first solvent of high compatibility with the binder resin containing a photoconductive organic pigment or dye with a second solvent having compatibility with the binder resin inferior to the first solvent. An electrophotographic photosensitive member having a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer is formed by applying a dispersion liquid produced by mixing a solution of a binder resin in a first solvent of high compatibility with the binder resin containing a photoconductive organic pigment or dye with a second solvent having compatibility with the binder resin inferior to the first solvent.
