Abstract

A heat-developable color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least a light-sensitive silver halide, a hydrophilic binder, a dye releasing redox compound capable of releasing a hydrophilic dye and a compound represented by the following general formula (IIA): ##STR1## wherein B represents an alkyl group or a substituted alkyl group; m represents 0 or an integer of 1 to 4; and A represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aralkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an acyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an amino group, an N-substituted amino group, an acylamino group, a carbamoyl group, an N-substituted carbamoyl group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an alkylsulfonylamino group, an arylsulfonylamino group, a sulfamoyl group, an N-substituted sulfamoyl group, a cyano group, a hydroxy group, a nitro group or a halogen atom and when m represents 2 or more A may be the same or different. A method of forming a color image is also disclosed which comprises imagewise exposing a heat-developable color photographic material comprising a support having thereon a light-sensitive silver halide, a hydrophilic binder, a dye releasing redox compound capable of releasing a hydrophilic dye and a compound represented by general formula (IIA).
