Abstract
An electronic cash register is provided with a box protruding from its back. The box has a frame portion for fixing the box to the electronic cash register. By fitting the frame portion on the electronic cash register, the box is fixed to the electronic cash register housing so as to project from its back. The electronic cash register is further provided with engaging portions on its back. Panels for advertisement are removably retained by means of the engaging portions.
