Abstract
Thermoplastic hot melt compositions and process for forming such compositions are disclosed. The compositions comprise a polyurethane having at least one plasticizer reacted therein formed by heating a reaction mixture comprising at least one isocyanate having a functionality less than about 2, at least one long chain polyol, at least one chain extender and the at least one plasticizer at a temperature of at least about 330.degree. F. where the components are present in an amount as defined in the specification. The process is adequately reflected by the above language.
