Abstract
Vulcanizable polymer compositions with improved scorch are provided comprising a carboxylated nitrile rubber or a carboxylated styrene-butadiene rubber, one or more polyvalent metal oxides and one or more alkali metal salts selected from the lithium, sodium and potassium salts of C.sub.12-18 -alkanoic acids.
