Abstract

There is provided an apparatus for aligning flat articles such as envelop flat bags or the blanks therefor or the like. According to the main feature of the apparatus, an article-supporting slideway is provided and lateral toothed belts run around reversing sprockets and are provided with article-engaging entraining members, the rotational axes of the reversing sprockets being perpendicular to the plane of the slideway.
