Abstract
Described is the genus of thiogeranyl esters defined according to the structure: ##STR1## wherein R represents hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl or C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkenyl and uses thereof in augmenting or enhancing the aroma or taste of consumable materials including foodstuffs, chewing gums, toothpastes, medicinal products, perfume compositions, colognes and perfumed articles.
