Abstract
A wiper device has a reversible electric motor having an output shaft operatively connected to a reciprocally movable wiper blade. The electric circuit including motor armature is constructed such that, when a wiper switch is on, the motor shaft is reciprocally rotated in alternate directions within a predetermined angular range less than 360.degree. to reciprocally drive the wiper blade and that, when the wiper switch is turned off, the motor shaft is rotated beyond the predetermined angular range to move the wiper blade to a rest position out of its wiping range.
