Abstract
An antimisting hydrocarbon solution comprising a hydrocarbon mixed with a copolymer of an alphaolefin and a vinyl alkylenecarboxylic acid, wherein the concentration of said copolymer in said hydrocarbon is about 0.05 to about 2 grams per 100 ml of said solution, wherein said copolymer has the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl group having about 1 to about 25 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 is an alkylene group having about 3 to 17 carbon atoms, x is about 95.0 to about 99.99 mole % and y is about 0.01 to about 5 mole %.
