Abstract
Thermoplastic composition exhibiting improved hydrolytic stability comprised of in physical admixture at least one aromatic carbonate polymer and an effective hydrolytic stabilizing amount of at least one compound represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein R and R.sup.1 are independently selected from hydrogen, monovalent hydrocarbon radicals, and monovalent hydrocarbonoxy radicals.
