Abstract
Novel 23-C-substituted mycaminosyl tylonolide of the general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a lower alkyl group, an aryl group, a lower alkenyl group or a lower alkynyl group, R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl group. These compounds have excellent antibacterial activities.
