Abstract

Novel esters, of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R represents C.sub.1-4 -alkyl or C.sub.2-4 -alkenyl and one of the three broken lines represents an additional bond, are disclosed. Also disclosed are novel odorant and/or flavouring compositions containing esters or formula I, a process and intermediates for the manufacture of the esters of formula I and the use of esters of formula I as odorant and/or flavouring substances.
