Abstract
In a photographic element for a silver salt diffusion transfer process comprising a silver halide light-sensitive element, an image receiving element and a processing element, the improvement wherein the photographic element contains a compound represented by the following general formula (I) or (II) ##STR1## wherein all the symbols are defined in the appended claims. A photographic element for a silver salt diffusion transfer process containing the novel image stabilizing agent has good stability during storage thereof before development processing and provides stable silver images free from discoloration or fading.
