Abstract
The invention relates to bead polymers based on monomers of the formula ##STR1## in which X is hydrogen or methyl, R denotes an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and Y denotes OH or NH.sub.2, which have been prepared using a special dispersion stabilizer. They are particularly distinguished by high porosity and are very suitable as carrier materials for biologically active substances.
