Abstract

The present invention relates to electrochemistry. An electrode for electrolysis of solutions of electrolytes comprises a support of a metal liable to passivation and a coating, applied onto this support, consisting of a mixture wherein a molar ratio of titanium oxide to the total of oxides of iridium and ruthenium is equal to 1-3:1 at a molar ratio of iridium oxide to ruthenium oxide equal to 0.75-3:1.
