A novel pest-combating agent of increased duration of action is produced by reacting a pest-combating agent having at least one hydrogen atom active in a Zerewitinoff reaction other than a hydrogen atom which is part of a carbamic acid ester group ##STR1## with a polyether isocyanate, the reaction with the polyether isocyanate taking place on said other hydrogen atom.
