Abstract

The invention relates to a yarn composed of false twist texturized synthetic yarn components where one of the components only has a crimp contraction of less than 10% and to a process for preparing the yarn, in which the yarn component with reduced crimp contraction is obtained by using a number of turns of false twist reduced to 35 to 65% of the Heberlein value and, if appropriate, texturizing temperatures of 120.degree. to 180.degree. C.
