Abstract

A carrier composed of particulate polymer of at least one monomer represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen atoms or alkyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R.sup.3 is a straight-chain or branched alkylene group having 2 or 3 carbon atoms, which group may be substituted by a hydroxyl group; X's, which may be the same or different, are halogen atoms; m is zero or an integer of 1 to 10; and n is an integer of 1 to 5, or a particulate polymer of said monomer and at least one other copolymerizable monomer.
