Abstract

Cyanamide compounds corresponding to the following formula ##STR1## in which R and R' each represent C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, cyclohexyl and benzyl, are used as activators for inorganic per compounds. They are preferably used in the mildly alkaline range at temperatures below 45.degree. C. Applications include the bleaching of textiles and hard surfaces, the oxidation of organic and inorganic intermediate products, and disinfection.
