Abstract
Novel fluorine-containing polyorganosiloxanes comprise repeating units of the formula [F(CF.sub.2).sub.m (CH.sub.2).sub.n ].sub.p SiO.sub.(4-p)/2, R.sub.3 SiO.sub.1/2 and SiO.sub.4/2 where R represents a monovalent hydrocarbon radical containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, m has an average value from 1 to 20, n is 1 or 2 and p is 1, 2 or 3. The polyorganosiloxanes are particularly useful as stabilizers for foams prepared by introducing gaseous blowing agents into liquid polydimethylsiloxanes.
