Abstract
A 2-fluoroethoxy-substituted benzene derivative represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein X represents an oxygen or sulfur atom, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represent a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, n represents 0 or 1, and A represents a group of the general formula ##STR2## in which R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a lower alkylthio group, a lower haloalkyl group, a lower haloalkylthio group or a methylenedioxy group, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 represent a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, and p and m represent 0 or 1. This compound is useful as an active ingredient of insecticidal and acaricidal agents, and can be produced by reacting a compound of the general formula ##STR3## with a compound of the general formula
