Abstract

Disclosed is a method for preparing an alumina composition having two concentrations pore sizes, one in the 90-200 Angstrom range and the other in the 1000 to 5000 Angstrom range. Method is based on heating one type of alumina to 1400.degree. F., mixing it with unheated alumina and reheating to the 1400.degree. F. temperature.
