Abstract

A process for producing pressure sensors and other similar devices in which a fluid-tight bond between a sealing glass and another material is obtained under the effect of the application of heat and an electric field. The process is characterized in that the parts to be assembled float on the surface of a molten metal bath. The bath is positioned in a chamber within which a partial vacuum prevails.
