Abstract

The invention pertains to a process for preparing a neutral or low alkaline silica containing aqueous liquid detergent composition comprising the step of introducing particulate alkalimetal silicate into the aqueous base at a temperature of below 50.degree. C. Compositions accordingly prepared show excellent anti-corrosive behavior towards metal and enamel surfaces.
