Abstract

A binocular ophthalmoscope of the type including an optical viewing system. The binocular ophthalmoscope includes a headgear adapted to be worn on the examiner's head for supporting the optical viewing system in optical alignment with the examiner's eyes and light source for illuminating a patient's eye which is slideably mounted on the headgear and movable in a lateral direction.
