Abstract

A bleed thermostat is provided with structure for determining at least one position of the bleed plate and therefore, the registration of the opening with the bleed port at that point. By selecting the full registration position, a condition indicative of terminal dissatisfaction is sensed. Additionally, in one embodiment, structure is provided for making the thermostat either direct acting or reverse acting to permit its use in either a heating or a cooling mode.
