Abstract
New furan derivatives and the addition salts thereof having the formula: ##STR1## where R is a straight or branched alkylene chain having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the processes for the preparation of said derivatives and the salts thereof and the pharmaceutical compositions containing them. These furan derivatives and the addition salts thereof are applicable for the treatment of gastroduodenal ulcer and all syndromes sustained or accompanied by acid secretion.
