Abstract
Hydrazinecarboxamides and carbothioamides of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from alkyl, cyanoalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, and benzyl, R.sub.2 is hydrogen or alkyl, Y is oxygen or sulfur, n is 0-5, and Z is substituted for hydrogen and independently selected from halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, phenoxy, trifluoromethyl, and nitro are useful as nematicides when applied to or incorporated into nematode-infested soil.
