Abstract

A lubricant composition having special utility as a lubricant in constant velocity universal joints of the type used in front wheel drive vehicles. The composition comprises a low sulfur lubricating oil base grease and an additive package comprising a mixture of an oil soluble, sulfur-free organic compound and an oil insoluble sulfur-free inorganic compound.
