Abstract

An apparatus for training students in thermal image recognition provides a lurality of variable thermal images for viewing through telescopic sights at a plurality of student stations. Identification of the image is electronically evaluated for correctness and response time by a microcomputer, located at an instructor station, which controls displays indicative of the student's performance.
