Abstract

One-component baking enamels of polyesters, which contain hydroxyl groups, and a polyisocyanate component, wherein the polyisocyanate component is a totally or partially blocked adduct or adducts of a mixture of 2-methyl-1,5-diisocyanatopentane (I) and 2-ethyl-1,5-diisocyanatobutane (II) according to the formulas (I) and (II): ##STR1## wherein the mixture of diisocyanates contains 88 to 99% by weight of totally or partially blocked (I) and about 12 to 1% by weight of totally or partially blocked (II). The enamel films exhibit excellent flexibility and weather resistance and can be coated on metal, glass and plastic.
