Abstract

The present invention relates to novel derivatives of 4-phenyl quinazoline of general formula: ##STR1## in which R.sub.2 is H or halogen or R.sub.1 is a hydroxyamino derivative of type ##STR2## in which at least R.sub.3 or R.sub.4 comprises an OH group or ##STR3## in which R.sub.5 comprises an OH group or ##STR4## it also relates to the drugs which may be used as minor tranquilizers, hypnotics and antiepileptics containing a product of formula (I).
