Abstract

Novel erythromycin B derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and are each hydrogen or methyl, and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof are disclosed. They exhibit excellent in vivo antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria.
