Abstract

A shaped charge and method of breaching reinforced masonary walls is disced. The shaped charge includes an annular liner located centrally between the ends of a cylindrical container filled with explosive. The device is placed in a pilot hole in the wall and is detonated simultaneously at the ends. The charge creates an annular radially expanding jet of explosive gases and fragments directed into the wall providing a man size opening therein.
