Abstract
An electromagnetically driven shutter includes combined diaphragm-shutter blades, the opening and closing of which is controlled by a swingable coil arranged in magnetic fields to travel forwards and backwards. The turns of the coil are made eccentric in relation to the swinging center of the coil, and a drive member for transmitting motion of the coil to the shutter blades is located with its center of inertia at a point almost opposite in position, relative to the swinging center of the coil, from the position of the center of inertia of the coil.
