Abstract
A process for the preparation of thiuram disulfides substituted with aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic, or aromatic hydrocarbon radicals, said process comprising reacting a suitably substituted secondary amine with carbon disulfide and in the presence of a tertiary amine or ammonia, oxygen or oxygen-containing gas, a solvent, and a metalliferous catalyst, at a temperature of between 0.degree. C. and 200.degree. C.
