A process for the conversion of alcohols and/or ethers to diesel fuel hydrocarbon mixtures comprising contacting alcohols and/or ethers with large pore zeolites, such as rare-earth Y aluminosilicate under elevated pressures and temperatures below about 600.degree. F.
