Abstract

The 2-[2'-hydroxy-3'-(1,1-dimethylpropylamino)-propoxy]-.beta.-phenylpropiophe none of formula I ##STR1## and its acid addition salts are described. Moreover, the preparation of this compound and of its acid addition salts is described. The compound and its acid addition salts have an antiarrhthymic effect. They can therefore be used for treating heart rhythm disorders.
