Abstract

A compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein Ring A is phenyl or halogenophenyl and R.sup.1 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and processes for preparing the same are disclosed. Said compound is useful as a hypolipidemic agent.
