Abstract

A flame retarding thermoplastic polyester composition superior in thermal stability, fluidity and mechanical properties, and prepared by mixing (a) halogen containing polystyrene and/or halogen containing poly-.alpha.-methylstyrene, (b) antimony trioxide and (c) epoxy compound with respect to thermoplastic polyester is disclosed.
