Abstract

Derivatives of 2-[3-(3-indolyl 2-amino propionyloxy] acetic acid corresponding to the following general formula I: ##STR1## in which R represents a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched alkyl radical including 1 to 12 carbon atoms, or a mono-alicyclic or polycyclic radical containing 5 to 16 carbon atoms, possibly linked by a methylene radical, and their pharmaceutically acceptable addition salts, are useful as medicaments for palliating deficiency of the serotoninergic system.
