Abstract
A bis-oxazoline of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group of 6 to 50 carbons and X is selected from the group containing of an alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group and at least one of the X substituents being a hydroxy alkyl group of the structure --(CH.sub.2).sub.n OH where n is 1 to 3, which is useful in improving the lubricity of aqueous drilling muds.
