Abstract

3-Alkoxypropylenimino-bis-(methylene phosphonic acids) of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is straight-chain or branched alkyl or alkenyl each having from 2 to 20, preferably 2 to 10, carbon atoms, aryl, preferably phenyl or aralkyl, preferably benzyl, and X is hydrogen, an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, ammonium, alkylammonium or polyalkylenepolyammonium ion, preferably a sodium, potassium or ammonium ion, a process for their manufacture and their use as collector in the flotation of non-sulfidic ores.
